Darfur Conference Updates, Information
January 13th, 2006
Three more speakers have been confirmed! Steven Krieger, Martha Heinmann, and a representative from Damanga.
On Thursday, three representatives from our team attended a Guantanamo Bay protest hosted by Amnesty International - we handed out flyers, talked to a few people, and took some pictures. We are planning to attend a lot of events such as these to get the word out. We are also planning on visiting schools, clubs, and churches. If you would like us to come and visit your school, club, or church, let us know by emailing us at thetideturners@yahoo.com, or darfurconference@gmail.com. Feel free to also contact us through our websites: www.myspace.com/darfurconference, or http://hs.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2222302585 for our facebook event page.
Again..we should have a website shortly.
